The protection of your personal data is a major concern of the Clean Coffee Project. Therefore we only ask for such information as is needed in a specific situation, e.g. when signing the petition. We are providing a way to subscribe the petition without making your name public, if you wish to.
We have designed our petition with highest privacy standards. We only ask for the specific data that is needed for a step in the petition process, i.e. when you sign the petition. As soon as this data is not needed any more it is deleted automatically. However, al the latest one year after the petition is closed, this data is deleted automatically.
Your personal data
Your personal data will only be used in the context of this petition. For the handover of the petition there will be your name, place of residence and the zip code on the list of signatures. The whole adress will only be forwarded to the adressee of the petition if the legitimacy of the adresses has been contested. After one year since the petition has enden your data, except of name and place of residence will be deleted. Personal data will not be used for advertising or market research. We will not forward your data to a third party unless we are forced by law.
Your email address
Your email address is known to Clean Coffee Project only at any time. It will not be made public nor be visible for the author or the recipient of a petition. With some petitions you may consent to direct contact via email from the petition author. Email update subscription is activated through an so-called Opt-Out/Opt-In procedure: The direct contact option is checked by default; it can be unchecked (Opt-Out). When left „checked“ you get an email with a confirmation link to your email address. Only when this confirmation link was activated, will we deliver email updates for the specific petition to you. Thus we make sure that only the owner of an email address can subcribe.
We reserves the right to remove external links in petitions, comments, debate or blog articles. This applies in particular to links to pages or documents, which:
• violating state law and basic democratic values
• do not correspond to the European Convention on Human Rights or International Law
• have insulting or discriminating content (this includes, among others, discrimination against individuals or groups that can be associated with or who associate themselves with the respective group by one or more of the following criteria: gender, religion, belief, origin, cultural ties, appearance).
When you visit our web page or download files, our web server collects statistical data like date and time, type of web browser. This is no personal data, so there is no way to associate this data with individuals. We evaluate this infomation to make our page more stable and user-friendly. We do not combine this data with other data or give it to other entities. We delete use analysis data after evaluation within one week.
